No. If it was a matter of just more testing, then you'd see more positives, but also more negatives. That ratio of positives would be expected to go down, significantly, actually - originally the people who got tested were people who were already suspected of possibly having it, now you're going to see a lot of tests of people who aren't necessarily expected to come back as positive. And as more testing is done, those positive rates should continue to go down and down, even if there are actually more cases, because of the increased testing and should continue to steadily go down. And, yet, we are seeing positive test ratios going UP, which means it's..... wait for it..... exploding.

More testing also wouldn't magically cause more people to need treatment in an Intensive Care Unit. There's less than 150 ICU beds left in the entire state of Arizona. ERs and hospitals are getting slammed with people who need treatment.

Stop parroting nonsense by political hacks, and listen to what medical experts are telling you. Its not going to get any better with masks, its just going to spread more slowly. Nearly half of our dead are in long term care facilities. The vast majority of the dead are over 50 with comorbidities. Let it spread among healthy people and save those who are at risk. There is no upside to quarantining, business shut downs and mandated masks, it only delays the inevitable and adversely affects the lives of people who are at almost zero risk. It makes no sense and causes more harm than good.

OH and for the record, we have no idea how contagious asymptomatic people are. It is an unknown. Some may be complete non-contagious, some may be contagious. We simply do not know, there are no indisputable facts regarding that specific topic.

It’s not the masks. New South Wales, my state, has had 49 covid deaths. The majority of the population don’t wear masks. It’s how well the country tracks cases and quarantines those infected.

The vast majority of the state’s population lives in one city, Sydney, 6 million people, around the population of Atlanta (which has had about 2,915 deaths). Our society, culture and technology is mainly based on America, and has been since the fall of Singapore in 42. It’s not the fact that we’re wearing masks in Sydney and Atlantian’s aren’t that caused them to lose 60 times our number.
