I don't know why everyone is surprised by his choice of words. He's used it before. He probably got a 'pass' during his time in prison if he didn't already get it in Flint. And anyone who wants to step up to him about it can join the old man on the ground.

Brutal overhand right lmao

As per usual everyone is fixated on a select 5 second piece of a 2 minute video.

I agree the old man should never have approached Perry in the way he did.. but what about the rest of the video? Occupation and all that aside, that is just completely childish behavior from any adult human being.

I guess this is the American way.

Perry is not the first celebrity to get into a drunken argument with staff and he won't be the last.

Yeah maybe you can answer my actual question.

Should old guys hyped up on liquid courage be able to start a fight with younger guys with no consequences?

I grew up in the pub scene and the fact you don't seem to know how old losers act when drunk means you're either privileged or an aspie loser
You seem really emotionally committed to getting me to talk about the old fat guy that I said outright was a piece of shit. Whatever assurances you need... yeah sure whatever... I feel your pain/sorry that whatever traumatized you in the pub scene happened to you.

If you must know I grew up in a shitty place with stupid ass dunce crime like this daily. So I'm not a fan of the "pub scene" cesspool as you put it. The guy earlier in this thread already posted that Perry was plastered off berry mojitoes (lol) and punched three people, including an employee that asked him to leave when he started his weak-willed panic attack. Eagerly awaiting how you try to justify that part...

He aint getting fired son pssshh, more likely he is going to get a raise. This ain't the NFL, UFC brought in Greg Hardy after NFL trashed his ass. Mike Perry is one of the most popular guys on the whole roster, they love him and he will do what Mike Perry does and that is entertain!

Fighters have been fired for much less. It's not good PR to keep on a white guy who causes a scene, beats up old men, and goes around yelling the N word.

Why not? He didn't use the word in a racial context. And there was no hard r. Plus Perry is honorary black.

The whole concept of one race having a magical "voldemort" word that other races can't say seems retarded to me.

Imagine if asian people had some magic word they could use that other races couldn't, or else they could "justify" violence or become outraged? That would be silly right. Oh wait.

Not a hill I would die on but it is ridiculous when you look at it logically. The word is synonymous with "bro" essentially. People make way too big of a deal out of it. Probably way too deep of a conversation and rooted in political bullshit to talk about in a thread like this, or at all though.

This. He doesn't ask for a pass. He takes his pass. Have a problem with his language? Go try to shut him up.

I don’t know this generation of boomers walk around all nose up in the air nowadays. Boomers didn’t even fight in any wars for USA and skated by during great economic times. And then they complain about millenials.

I mean sure Mike Perry is entertaining, but lets not pretend he's some paragon of humanity. Dude is as trashy as it gets and has a criminal record longer than my arm. He definitely doesn't do any favors for millenials image

This kind of shit happens in florida literally every single night of the week

If it wasn't someone mildly recognizable, no one would have given a shit

That's not how people do things anymore. Nowadays they will launch a social media campaign and harrass your employer, family, friends, etc until you're fired, blacklisted, estranged, and broken

you clearly don't understand how UFC operates. They don't give a fuck about your image, only about how much money you bring in.

If one of the three people was an old balding fk then he outright deserved it. I will wait for evidence of the other two.

Anyone who grew up in a "shitty place" would too

Perry probably needed to feel superior hands after being out-struck by Mickey Gall..elderly overweight man was just the ticket to restore confidence..

He may have been elderly but still a heavyweight nonetheless. Pretty solid KO for Mike if i'm being honest.

Hes been saying the N word for a while
