Perhaps not, but it would easily be the best fighter Chimaev has beaten in the UFC. At this point I’d just like to see him fight. There are probably better options though (Geoff Neal or Neil Magny). Perry probably won’t be granted shit on short notice given he missed weight by a whopping 4 or 5 pounds with a full camp.

magny is a boring fighter. And can just take the fight out of a fight.
He’s one guy I really don’t want to watch in the top 10

I’m not exactly buying Khamzat’s hype but I’m pretty confident he’d beat the brakes off Perry. Be a good match to make if Dana wanted to hype him up more to casuals.

This. Say what you will about PMP, but he is durable as Hell. I could picture Khamzat giving him a prolonged beating for 1-2 rounds. This would raise Khamzat's profile, and get Perry one step closer to leaving the UFC so he can stop embarassing the sport.
