Mike "Cherry" Perry moves to Jackson-Wink MMA for portion of UFC 226 training camp

Perry’s manager, Abraham Kawa of First Round Management, told MMAjunkie the fighter will spend a portion of his camp for UFC 226 at Jackson-Wink MMA before returning home to Orlando, Fla., to finish things off.

That's the problem with Jackson/Wink these days. They expect a bunch of dumb meatheads who grew up in affliction shirts to be able to absorb and deploy Fight IQ.

Fighting isn't rocket science. Any fighter has the ability to absorb a game plan its really about their desire to put in the work to do so.

It isn't rocket science - however, if your coaches treat it as such, partly in order to pump up their own brand like it is something special, you need the mental capacity to absorb their intricate, scientific game plan - or at least enough common sense and brain cells to absorb some of it.

Jackson/Wink has become a victim of their own success, ego and ambition. They need to greatly simplify their training and gameplans, because they are training guys like Mike Perry.
