this is an awful matchup for hatton and his camp knows it. The only way they fight at WW is with pbf where they have a chance. they are never gonna fight cotto who can easily be at 154. More logical exciting fight is dlh vs cotto. although, dlh will probably never let this happen.

Cotto is a bad matchup for basically anyfighter in the world so that isn't really an arguement. I think Cotto would def. take this but Hatton could make it a great, great fight. Def would want to see this... might be too dangerous for both fighters though, cause pbf would use this as a reason not to fight cotto if he has a tougher time with hatton than he did.

Good fight for Cotto bad for Hatton... Cotto will knock Hatton out early probably in the 5th or 6th round. He's too big of a WW for Hatton who usually fights at 140.

IF Cotto beats Margarito in July which I think in my opinion will be a war but Cotto will win. He should fight Quintanas again because it will be an easy fight for him after the Margarito fight and he will be holding 3 titles WBO, WBA, IBF WW titles. That makes him a huge draw. Then after this put him against DLH which Cotto will also outclass and beat. Cotto outboxed Mosley, Cotto will outbox and beat the crap out of DLH. Just my opinion.
If setting up fights was easy in boxing and I was Bob Arum I would do this IF COTTO BEATS MARGARITO.
Cotto VS Margarito = IBF WW TITLE
then...
Cotto VS Quintana easy match = WBO WW TITLE
Cotto VS DLH BIG MONEY FIGHT = COTTO WINS THIS
Cotto VS Hatton if Hatton takes the fight = COTTO KOS HATTON IN MIDROUNDS 5TH OR 6TH MY PREDICTION.

Stop being delusional. You know and I know he is not going to get all those match ups and even if he does, he has a good probability of losing two of them (i.e., magarito and de la hoya if he is consistent).
DLH is bigger than cotto, but cotto is a big WW. He can easily grow into 154. If he had faced DLH and won...which i don tthink he can at 154, he coulda forced pbf to fight 154 against 147...same way DLH forced pbf to do it. PBF is sorta maxed out at 147.

Of course if it's back 2 back this would be over a very long time making the Mayweather fight in early or middle 2010
There is no probability of losing to DLH. Oscar right NOW doesn't have the speed, boxing skills nor stamina to last with Cotto. Maybe back in the days yes but now nope. I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto really fucks him up.
I think DLH still has the boxing skills and the stamina. What he does lack is the speed. Historically he has had a lot of problems with faster fighters...think whitaker, mosley, mayweather.
His hopkins fight was sort of unfair. His max weight is 160...and thats pushing it...and that was on the lowest of hopkin's range.
Matchup wise i think DLH beats cotto. but the thread is about hatton and cotto. and hatton would get killed by cotto. quite simply at 147, he's not strong enough to bruise it with those guys.

It's not his boxing skills or speed. It's just his consistency and stamina. De la hoya still has the wrecking ball left hook, reach, speed, and boxing skills over Cotto. The question remain is if he is able to fight twelve hard rounds and fend of Cotto's pressure.
