Man, Marquez is so old and hasn't fought in forever, smaller guy, etc. Not crazy about this fight, personally, I'll watch obviously, but I think Cotto handles him.
 
I don't like this fight, but I would be rooting for JMM 100%
 
Cotto looking for an easy pay day/retirement plan fight vs an old, smaller, known name. I hope Marquez gets on the juice and knocks his ass out and sails off into the sunset.

Nothing against Marquez, he's one if my favs but I like Cotto more and he deserves a big winnable fight
 
Please no, I don't like this at all.

I hate the fact Roach will be licking his lips at taking out an old JMM.

With that said, Cotto definitely fucks him up.
 
I know Marquez is smart enough not only to bring Cotto down to at least 150 but to ask for re hydration clause, with that said, it should be a competitive fight
 
Gotta make sure he gets a big win after that last Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry.

Cotto wins. Marquez is too inactive. A loss to Canelo doesn't mean Cotto isn't a damn good fighter still.

I said it back when someone first posted about this that I don't like it. Still don't. Cotto has been fighting at a high level for a while. Marquez has been inactive for 2 years. I don't care how good of a fighter Marquez is, there will be rust and I don't care to see a rusty, old Marquez take on a less-old and still sharp Cotto. Juan will have his moments but I don't see a way in which he wins this.

A few years and 2 weight classes ago I'd be clamoring for it. I'll tune in but I'm not marking it on my calendar or anything.
 
Old Cotto vs Older Marquez. They gonna slap a $75 buy on this?
 
If it is Marquez, then I think it goes very badly for him. Of course, it is still Marquez and maybe he can prove me wrong, but this seems like a bridge too far at his age. Marquez around the time of the 3rd Pacquiao fight against the best WW Cotto would have been a lot of fun.
 
Marquez gets dropped 2 or 3 times in this fight. He's been hurt bad by left hooks many times in his career. Even fucking Mayweather knocked him down with one and Cotto has the best left hook in the biz IMO. I'd still love to see these two in the ring together. Give Marquez one more payday before he retires.
 
Cotto vs Lara is probably the best possible fight at 154.
 
Cotto is just too big and strong for marquez. Not interested in this fight. Hopefully its cotto vs bradley or similar.
