I think this guy has a chance against MM. I think it has the possibility to be THE fight of the night.

Henry Cejudo looks interesting. DJ is DJ though.
Gonna be a good fight.

It's the most intrigued by a FLW I've probably have ever been, Henry is definitely the overall best athlete MM has ever fought at that weight class

Fight will be won in between td attempts. Quicker man to score and land shots in the transition between grappling and striking will win. Book it fellas. Should be mm but I wouldn't be suprised if it were Henry. Kids a winner and won an Olympic gold medal straight out of high school. No one does that. Last true test for mm at flw. If you don't believe that, his next opponent, if he wins, will be a tuf winner.

I'm hoping for a good fight, and not 5 rounds of two people bouncing around the cage like hyper-manic jumping beans.

Henry will do pretty good on the first 2 or 3 rounds, might even win a round or two.
He will then get figured out by Pokemon Master Hume and MM will go to work.

And that's the story, nothing else can really be said. Mouse is mouse and a league above everyone at flw but cejudo is the most intriguing fight he's had

I'm interested in how the grappling will work out.
Cejudo has some crazy record/credentials.

i like cejudos mindset going into this fight seems calm/confident and talking about simplicity
as above posters have said though
dj is dj

It'll be similar to when Rousey faced a medalist. Cejudo barely won his last fight and didn't look that good so I don't see how he wins

i actually like both guys, but would love to see Cejudo win.

Maybe it would help inspire other Olympic athletes to prepare and cross-train for a possible future.

Thou i think MM is just an all-round better martial artist and a speed advantage, not only with his hands but with his feet. There is a very good chance MM has a better TD% then Cejudo by the end of the fight.

The last top wrestler DJ fought was Broseph, and while he KO'd him last time, their 1st fight was competitive. Cejudo's naturally a better wrestler than Bena, but Bena has more punching power and is a more skilled inside boxer. The best wrestler DJ faced before that was McCall, who had good success in spots. Those fights tell me Cejudo has a solid chance here. DJ will likely stuff/avoid shots because of his footwork, but if and when Cejudo gets top control he's more skilled on top than anyone else at FLW. Should be interesting if that happens.

Has Demetrious always been known for I-don't-give-a-shit, care free attitude? I never seen him so relaxed outside the cage. I'd assume that he has seen it all and his tired of everything.

Cejudo is probably hungrier than Demetrious, but Cejudo didn't look very convincing in his previous bout. Wasn't Cejudo's striking quite sloppy?

In my opinion, Demetrious is faster and has "cleaner" striking than Cejudo. So yeah, Demetrious will probably take this one, but I would like to see Cejudo win the UFC gold.

Cejudo did a lot of his low level stuff at small Texas shows so he's been on my radar for a long time. My two thoughts are

1. I'm shocked he made weight.
2. MM is just too fast for him.

Let's be right mm significantly faster with more experience in the cage , and perhaps even better wrestler than the user Cejudo so I think it's easy to fight mm

MM has the perfect mindset for elite level athletes. Especially individual sports athletes. He doesn't get too high. So he never gets too low. Shuts out the unimportant garbage. Brings his lunchbox to work everyday prepared to work. Just one of a handful of fighters on that level.

MM wins this with a stoppage in Rd 4.

You guys are fucking nuts lol. Henry has nothing for MM his past fights looked terrible. Not only did he gas out but his striking is very mediocre, he does no damage to people once he gets them down.. has the guy ever finished a fight?

Unless Henry has made massive improvements to his game, or if he put on the performance of a lifetime I see him getting outclassed every round. He will probably gas an get finished in round 3.
