I never understood how MMA guru ever became popular because he's certainly not witty or charismatic, so I assumed it was because of racism/homophobia/etc.. Strange to see a backlash to it.

He says alot of ignorant shit, and we live in a car crash mentality society. He certainly has 'real fans', but a large portion of his perceived popularity and views is because ignorant people generally draw stares.

Yea DJ really made a joke of himself with the youtube stuff even before this. You could tell he started making outrageous claims just to get views. At the same time he has a family to take care of so if he needs the money then more power to him.

Doing a podcast with guru is crossing the line. But training a severely autistic guy in death sentence and encouraging him to continue getting brain damage for views is fine.

Really. He should've think this one through better.

Mouse has 1.5M plus subscribers. He did this through generating insightful, quality content with people from all stripes in the MMA space, to include the Dagis, and he cross platformed that with the gaming community. He’s going just fine. He may literally be the most successful retired fighter, post career, through his online endeavors.

He made a judgement call for his brand and it was a smart move. This is even more impressive considering how unfairly his career is downgraded because he’s a manlet. He’s right up there with GSP, Anderson, Bones, and Fedor, yet he gets a fraction of the recognition.

In said rant, he was accusing said group of inbreeding, beastiality and forcing women to marry men. Mighty Mouse by association started to also get attacked online for associating with MMAguru and has now distance himself from him. The Mighty Guru show is apparently over.
