Have any of you tried microdosing psilocybin? It was on a Netflix documentary Fantastic Fungi. Apparently has benefits, but I am too scared to try it. What has you experience been with this? Or psilocybin in general? Bill Burr said it changed his life for the better. I am generally against all drugs, but this organic wonder has something interesting for humanity.

How will it make my life better? Will it make me a better person? Will it help my jiu jitsu? My relationships? My work?

Im also interested in trying this for possibly getting me out of depression funk. There's a few guys on here that have done it.

Yes, huge benefits for depression apparently. Definitely give it a try, but under a controlled environment.

I am researching the hell out of it now. Also completely alleviates any sadness and pain for critically ill cancer patents. They lose all fear of death.

A work mate of mine does. He says it’s improved his attitude.
I’m more interested in taking a heroic dose.

Paul Stamets the mushroom scientist took a heroic dose by accident for the first time in his life and it permanently cured his life-long stutter. Was in the Netflix documentary. I'm not that brave though. I know no one dies from it. But still....kinda scary. Maybe good things can happen like it did to Paul. I don't know.

I’ve never had anything but good times tripping. I’ll have to check out that documentary. I’d try microdosing if I could find some fungi but then again I’m not actively looking. Guess I could talk to my buddy thats doing it.

It’s helpful and you don’t feel/notice anything. It’s far too low of a dose to be noticeable

Not interested.

There's enough other valuable/enjoyable things in life that psycho funghi doesn't seem very enticing.

I've done shrooms a few times, probably the biggest dose was 3.5 - 4g, had some good fun on them though last time I done them wasn't enjoyable my mind was racing after the effects had worn off, I was stressing out I wasn't going to come out of it, took me a while, also absolutely cooked my guts to the point where even during the trip it wasn't enjoyable due to the discomfort however you wouldn't have any sort of visuals at a .25 - .5g microdose level. Definitely worth a try.

Microdose (if you're scared homie)

What I suggest is banging out 2-3 grams for a good trip - around friends you can trust, a campfire/cottage/outdoors is gonna be one of the best experiences you'll ever have.

Don't mind the nausea, it'll pass. Make sure you're in a good head space (positive thoughts/feelings in your mind and heart, no matter how gay that sounds) and I guarantee you'll have a good time.

No fun microdosing- taking very small amounts for 'subthreshold unperceptable effects'.

Just try dosing.

Start with a lower dose.
Have an intent to explore the mind, set up a good playlist and enjoy.

I've done it and it definitely helped with general mood and motivation.

You if course do not notice any psychoactive results.

You can't guarantee it, but what he said is so true. Set, and setting is so important.

You should really consider editing and including a decimal before the 5g lol. Wouldnt want anyone to read that thinking there wont be any noticeable effects from a 5g dose
