The UFC provides regular notes to rankers about fighter eligibility and ranking consideration. It appears that MVP has made it clear that he's going back to WW, the rankers were told this, and enough removed him from MW rankings that he's no longer up there. I guess not enough took the bait on replacing him in WW until he fights there again
