Michael Johnson

Happy the guy still has a job but he's probably the most 1 dimensional male fighter in the ufc. He's a finish or get finish style fighter though. Either he koes people or quickly gets subbed. Probably why they like him. Highlight reel win or lose

I like watching him fight so I'm glad he's still around. His record isn't great but as mentioned above, wins over some very good guys and a FOTY with Gaethje.

He's an entertaining fighter so I can see why they keep him around. He isn't anywhere near as bad as his record suggests.

His last fight was only a few weeks ago so there’s still time for him to get cut. The worrying thing was that Guida was landing consistently on him and was winning the striking battle at times. Usually MJ wins on the feet and loses on the mat.

He never was a top 5 guy, but his downfall is still one of the worst.

Surely, he's gonna be cut soon? He seems to have not won a fight since 2016 or something. Completely over the hill now.

He's getting there though, his last three losses are to Stevie Ray, Thiago Moises and 2021 Clay Guida, it's not like he's only losing to the best anymore.

4 wins in his last 12 fights . I personally think if he loses he should hang it up and coach wrestling or get a 9-5.

He's entertaining and talented

Yes, he does put up some rotten egg performances once in a while, but when he's on, he can compete with the top 5

Also, that performance against Gaethje should give him a lifetime contract - fight of the decade contender

He got robbed in the Stevie Ray decision, got caught against Moises, and Guida is a horrible matchup for him - but yes they are still losses at the end of the day

He's still living off those wins over Tony, Edson, and Dustin. It's crazy he beat those 3 guys...

Is anybody else surprised that Michael Johnson is still in the UFC?
Here’s the deal with Michael Johnson. Any time he fights, theres over a 90% chance that the fight will not go to a decision. He is a finish or be finished kinda fighter.
