Michael Chiesa potentially just hit the lottery. He has all of the power that a UFC fighter could ever dream of. He is sitting in a position where he can choose to press charges against Conor, or drop charges against Conor. He can choose to sue McGregor for several thousands of dollars as well.

But the real move here is to tell Conor and Dana ... “I won’t press charges or sue, give me a million dollar fight against McGregor plus PPV percentage”.

Obviously this is all pending on the future of McGregor’s fighting license.

You've seen too many movies. Chiesa vs Conor is a private affair and he will have no leverage over the UFC to try and force this match-up. Suing is not some fast, easy, cheap process people think it is. Chiesa is not rich; he will fight Pettis in a month or so and take some undisclosed settlement quietly in the near future.
