I'm honestly shocked this hasn't received more anticipation and predictions. This is one of the few times I'm legitimately interested in a rematch. The first fight was many years ago, back when Held was 19 (?) and Chandler was bullish and green (as evidenced by his willingness to go to the ground with Held). Both men have improved dramatically since said fight, as evidenced by Held beating Jansen in impressive fashion recently (as opposed to his loss to Jansen a few years ago) and Chandler showcasing improved boxing over the course of his fights post-Brooks II.

This is honestly a pick-em fight for me. In their first outing, Held effectively won the fight with his leg lock (i.e. vast majority of fighters would've tapped), and he's shown to still have said threat, as evidenced by his wrecking Brooks knee in RD1. He's also improved his wrestling, taking down everyone he's fought recently and even getting Brooks down. He can certainly take Chandler down, but I question if he can keep him down. Chandler, obviously, holds a massive striking and power advantage, but can get complacent if the threat of the takedown is present (i.e. Brooks II)

Thoughts?

You should add a "?" at the end of the title
Held has improved his striking but IMO isn't good enough to bang with Chandler, who is faster too

Would be a great fight. I think Held is the most underrated (and improved) guy on the roster. I worry what going 0-2 vs Chandler would do to his career. Going 0-2 vs the champ is a kiss of death in terns of trying to get another shot for as long as Chandler holds the belt.

I'd rather see Held beat up Thomson first.

I think they're gonna feed Thomson to Chandler, which will be an easy victory for Mike. I could also see them giving Benson Held as a tune up fight, with said tune up fight ending similarly to the Koreshkov tune up fight.

Bensons performance at the ADCC this summer confirmed my suspicions: his submission defense is incredibly overrated. Getting caught in submissions and escaping doesn't make for good defense; not getting into them does. If Benson has Held on his leg, I honestly see a first round submission for Held. If not, I can still see him out wrestling Benson for 3 rounds, given that Benson gets out wrestled by anyone who tries.

Doubt Held takes it. He has one fight left on his deal and wants free agency. Not happy with Bellator.

Held neds two more years in striking and wrestling for this. If this fight happens at the end of the year i pick Chandler by athleticism

Why not Chandler vs Thomson and Held vs Benson
