Holy shit that is a bad recent fight record. Our rankings are broken when guys can lose 4/5 while guys on 5+ fight win streaks and be ranked way below.

After watching some highlights I can safely say he was beaten, completely out of the fight, and not at all in pursuit.

This is just crazy. The guy is 2-5 and one of his 2 wins is a braindead version of Ferguson. He spent 2 years on the shelf waiting for McGregor. Yet somehow we are supposed to see him as a LW elite even if his record strongly suggests otherwise.

I'd say if he beats some Bobby Green, Staph-Denis or Thiago Moises a title shot might be in order, Makhachev and Abdelaziz would see such a big name as a valuable addition to their "legacy."
