In the Oliveira fight he was doing great on the ground and hurting him standing.

In the Gaethe fight he was doing great in the beginning throwing leg kicks and picking his shots.

In the Poirier fight he was up up up and then he gassed.

He always finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Yeah he has a total shut down point that usually happens after 1-2 rounds.

The only fight he was close to winning there was against Poirier.

The other fights he just had moments. A moment is not close to victory.

Can't be as reckless as he is against the top 5 fighters and expect to come out winning. It has solidified him as a incredible prize fighter, much like Conor was. A quite remarkable UFC career but average at the same time!

he is a low iq fighter.

entertaining fighter, but he keeps making hte same mistakes. enjoy his fights, no point rooting for him

I could be very wrong but I sort of feel like Chandler is a little too comfortable with where he's at to be a real contender to the title. Someone else said it but he seems more concerned with putting on entertaining fights than winning and moving up the UFC's rankings.

He does not point fight.. That’s for sure.

I believe he makes the wrong choices as to a gameplan. Apparently, he wants the approval of the fans, and the UFC. And might be looking at securing some kind of post-fighting career working for the UFC.

When a wrestler doesn’t wrestle. And instead goes full on Rock Em Sock Em Robots..

It’s certainly not the plan, as a coach that I would give him.

I like the guy. I’m not judging him on shit. Take care of number 1.

His fight iq stinks i still don't know how he didn’t beat Dustin

He absolutely was close to beating Oliveira. In fact the ref could've stopped it and nobody would've complained

The fighter opposite him has something to do with his defeats. Just saying.

He had a nice flash knockdown which Oliveira recovered from immediately. If the ref stopped it the entire MMA world would've complained.

He was beaten everywhere in that fight, never close to winning.

Everything you said was wrong.

Stop trying to explain it away.

Over time, it all comes out in the wash. He is not capable of competing with top 5 opponents. Mike throws the kitchen sink out of the gate at these guys because its all he can do. Skill for skill he's nowhere near the level of Poirier and Do Bronx, fighting full YOLO is his best strategy.

Its long overdue he have to fight tough, lower ranked guys with impressive records.

This guy has been killing people since Bellator had a grey mat and a circular cage, his fights against Eddie Alvarez were all out wars.

Idk how u wouldnt retire forever after those fights but here we are - he is super entertaining and starched Izzys BF Dan Hooker.
