No, he's not, he's shorter than most of them but is also bigger than most of them. You shouldn't judge how big someone is only on their height. We don't live in a one dimensional world.

Cory Hill is taller than Frank Mir and a lot of fighters at MW, LHW and HW, he's certainly not bigger though.

Also gives a late notice replacement opportunity to keep Connor in the main event if Dustin gets a late injury or something. UFC needs more main event Plan Bs on the cards.

to me, this is who i wanted to see chandler against from the beginning. I think its a great fight to guage where chandler stacks up. should be a war. Who are they gonna match olievera up with? gaethje?

He is 5' 7" - 5' 8" and fought at 145. He looks like he may have had some assistance maintaining weight and size at 155. He looked small fighting Benson. Hooker is considerably bigger, height and weight.

Chandler has never fought at 145, you seem confused, Hooker fought at 145. Chandler started his career at 170 and dropped to 155. Chandler didn't look small at all fighting Benson, he threw him around like a child and his upper body is much bigger(almost no one at 155 has bigger legs than Benson though). Hooker is considerably taller, I don't think he weighs more than Chandler who weighs around 180-183 and if he does it's not by much.
 
He's stated to be 5'8 but looks smaller, closer to 5'6. Benson is 5'9 and Chandler looked more than an inch shorter. But he's a stocky dude so 155 is definitely his weight class. Even if he could make 145, he would probably not do so well as he has a large frame for his height.

So beating Tony Ferguson doesn't guarantee you a title shot any longer? Charles shouldn't have ducked Islam at least then he'd be guaranteed a title shot with a win along with a 200k bonus.

Chandler fought David Rickels at Bellator 97 at 145. Here is 27 yr. old chandler in UFC 97 (he fought at 145) I think he moves back to 145 after Hooker fight.

I've said this before here, but I think Hooker is a bad stylistic matchup for Chandler. He's really good at fighting long, keeping a distance, and he's an active and aggressive scrambler. Chandler's best hope is to wrestle his ass off and really focus on landing body shots and leg kicks. Hooker's conditioning isn't the best, so if Chandler can wear him down early, he should get the W.

That said, I hope Chandler pulls it off. I've been a fan of his since his wars with Alvarez, and I'd love to see another Bellator OG become champ. He's joining the UFC a little late in his career, but hopefully he pulls it off.
