it was over so long ago mike. anyone with half a brain could see that. someone needs to tell him to stop and move on.

Bro, you say it was over long ago, but I don't even think it was on lol.

Conor never had any plans to fight this guy. It was all just him pretending he was still in the fight game for PR/marketing purposes.

As a first generation American who was raised by an entire family from another country I can say that there's a lot of things that Americans do that aren't the best practices.

The dating system isn't one of them.

May 29th, 2025 vs the 29th day of May of 2025.

I bet you when you organize things by date you organize things by month giving you 12 piles and not by day which gives you 31 piles.
What happened to you

Like I’ve always said

It’s Conor vs Eddie pretty much
Chandler takes a dive in R1

Did Mike go on some crazy spending spree when he initially got the Conor fight and is looking to get himself out of debt by doing this?

This type of sad desperation is usually only seen in men in dire financial situations.

Chandler must love getting humiliated. At this point, how do you defend this callout?

Dude is getting off, it has to be it.
Its getting really sad. I feel sorry for Chandler.

There is a bigger chance Tony vs Kabob will happen than this fight.

The way the USA date things is so retarted.
Indeed there are nonsensical conventions everywhere that could easily be fixed but aren’t due to cultural inertia. Some examples:

Dates
month/day/year format (US)
Imperial year (Japan). How are we in year R6 instead of 2024? And there is no empire (so why the emperor?) so it makes even less sense.

Measurements
Imperial system (the name alone says it all, but c’mon water freezing at 32f instead of 0c and boiling at 212f instead of 100c???).
Stones for weight (how ancient is that?).

Color conventions
Asian stock markets use red for up/positive days and blue for down days and Western use the opposite. Get it together people!

Electric plugs
2024 and I need to buy 5 adapters for 5 different countries?? For real?? And most of those use the SAME voltage?

Driving conventions
How are some countries still driving on the left when the majority of the world drives on the right? Is that a UK and former colony pride thing? Like the Commonwealth games?

Currencies
How is 1 currency worh 10,000 of another? Can’t wait til everything is priced in bitcoin.

And many other examples 🤦‍♂️

End of non-MMA rant.

Those things aren't really just cultural inertia. They're already baked into large societies infrastructure, and would cost a ton of money to restructure things.

I dont get how they are "easily" fixed, especially the currency conversion....you think having a unified currency is an "easy" thing to do or that the reason there is not one is due to culture?

Well, thanks for reading, I appreciate it. Some changes would be costly but many can be done realistically. For ex. plugs are changed in hotels nowadays to be USB. Same in newer buildings. Currencies are often consolidated from 1,000 to 1.0 in poor countries due to hyperinflation, so clearly that can be done. Athletes run the 100m not the [whatever yards or feet] and tracks are in meters (metres for UK spelling and former colonies). Scientists in the US are proficient in the metric system, as it’s the sensible tool for that. Japanese computer systems and documents can usually handle the modern calendar (though some refuse, especially government-related). Etc.

There is a lot of room for all of us to get on the same page on most things. Sadly the world is currently moving in the opposite direction in many ways…
