International Mexico halts caravan of 2,000 migrants bound for US; critics call roundup a 'human hunt'

Funny thing is, most of those illegals come here to work and provide a service to America. While like you said, you have Americans who don't want to work and are homeless .

In AZ, I never see illegals begging for money on corner. I see alot of Americans though Smh.

I don't care where you come from as long as your working and not breaking any major laws . Everyone should have the same human right to prosper anywhere on this Earth.

Oh Ya, nationalism and stupid and dangerous. It only tries to separate the people in this world .

Smh I'm sad that you're one of my countrymen.

You'd love that because meanwhile no illegals would be prosecuted and would continue pouring over to vote blue. You don't care about Americans either. You care about power.

I care for all people trying to better their and families lives.

cool would love to see you in their position - having shit luck of being born in a shithole african / south american country that has 0 regard for human life
and you wanting to seek a better place for yourself - I am sure you would change your dumb tune from "is anyone supposed to feel bad for these people?" to "yea fuck that, I'm taking my chances elsewhere"

I totally understand why anyone would want to leave their shitty life conditions and go into "the greatest country in the world" and take their chances there

I thought the US had no regard for black lives? We're all nazis, remember?

Yea...you do see white people begging for money to survive on street corners. Their last names aren't garcia or gomez, so they don't qualify for free handouts from the government.

Sad thing about that is most of those white people that can't get help.....because they are white.....paid into the system for years. But the illegal alien or the refugee gets to reap the benefits for their hard work.

As a social worker, I can tell you that they're are plenty of white people on welfare.

Our southern states make up alot of welfare use which most of those states are majority white.

If we are talking percentages per population....white people are the lowest percentage of welfare recipients.

Though rates of participation are higher among people of color, white people comprise the greatest number of recipients when measured by race.

Given the population of the United States in 2012 and the annual rate of participation by race reported by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2015, about 35 million white people participated in one of the six major government assistance programs that year. That's about 11 million more than the 24 million Hispanics and Latinos who participated and considerably more than the 20 million black people who received government aid.

In fact, most white people receiving benefits are enrolled in Medicaid. According to an analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 42% of non-elderly Medicaid enrollees in 2015 were white. However, U.S. Department of Agriculture data for 2013 shows that the largest racial group participating in SNAP is also white people, at more than 40%.

Right...because white people make up the majority of the population. Its still much harder to qualify for benefits if you are white.

So once again....percentage wise....hispanics and blacks (especially black people) receive welfare benefits at a much higher percentage than white people. Some of the numbers are staggering.

But immigrants come to america, get free housing and a car. And they will get hired over white people that are more qualified for the job.

Do you feel unjust ? Do you see why African Americans argue the same things towards white America and how they weren't treated the same or given the same opportunities as whites?

Social economics, education, jobs, human rights, political rights, law protection etc...

This wouldn't be a problem if we treated everyone like a fellow human and stop trying to separate people.

We have given the black community every single opportunity to thrive and be successful. Every program you can think of. Letting black students into colleges they dont deserve to be in while denying acceptance to qualified white and asian students. They get jobs over other people that are more qualified. Welfare, healthcare and on and on. Yet the black community is moving backwards in society. Their kids arent graduating high school. The minority percentage that do graduate can't barely read. They just push them through.

Continuing to paint black people as victims and coddling them isn't working. Might be time to figure out a better way to help them....other than free handouts.

From my experience, mexicans are some of the hardest working and most decent people to be around. I think they appreciate america and its opportunities much more than black people who are forever victims crying endless tears.

Black people are about 12% of the population and whites are over 70%.

You're either being very dishonest in your arguing or you're very stupid.

Which is it?

Don't be mad about it, if people need welfare I'm ok that my taxes go to them.
