Mexico buys $98 millions worth of missiles.

Crazy that buying 35 missiles and some other small equipment is $98 million.

More crazy to think in US military arsenal they easily have hundreds of thousands of missiles probably over 1 million actually. They got tens of millions of weapons. US govt admits they got like 10,000 nukes. How many do they have they not admit? And how many non nukes they got.

In the hands of the "federal" authorities.

...for now...

I have seen videos of crazy Mexican fireworks going off while in storage at factories.

Hope you guys take a little more care at military sites

This is how they are paying for the wall. They save face by 'buying US missles', but really we all know they are bowing down to Trump and complying with this order. They just need to save face, because respect is a big part of the Mexican culture.

You do realize that these missiles go to private companies right? also $98 millions is hardly paying for the wall.

Its still quite odd since Mexico has never bought gear that its meant to fight conventional enemies.

Seems to me like a blatant bribe.

Mexico's maritime threats are null, its main job is to prevent poaching by foreign boats, so there is absolutely no sense to buy these kind of conventional weapons.

This smells like some backroom NAFTA deal or something.

Do you consider mexico central america? I always have but I look it up some people say it north America but UN say it is central. To me it is central america

Gotta have something to launch drugs and illegals over the wall with.

It's North America. It may be more politically, culturally, or genetically similar to Central, but it's geographically and legally (according to US immigration law) North America.

$98 million sounds like an assload until you realize it's only 35, and they'll never ever actually use them.

Geographically, Mexico is apart of North America. "Central America" isn't an actual continent, it's just easier to differentiate between Mexico and El Salvador/Nicaragua/Honduras/etc. that way.

The UN also has Saudi Arabia on their human right's council.

[edit]The UN's head of Human Right's council is Joaquín Alexander Maza Martelli, who is a permanent representative of....El Salvador.

The United Nations can be completely backwards sometimes.

Mexico is traditionally divided in 3 parts, center, south and north.

The south of Mexico is definitively part of Central America.
