Ice Ice Baby!

Here in Houston, 356 gang members were rounded up from MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Paisas, Tango Blast, and Latin Kings in the first 6 months. Im sure there is a disruption to the sex and drug trafficking. Houston is a huge hub for sex trafficking and texas in general. An estimated 313,000 people are being trafficked in Texas at any given time, including an estimated 79,000 children and youth who are victims of sex trafficking. These are mostly from the border and controlled by gangs. Im sure they want barriers removed....

Yes that is the two choices.

I think most people support ICE but just don’t want them to be breaking laws and avoiding accountability. Virtually no one is going to be happy if agents get killed by some cartel members

In before some of the twitter brains in this site post a couple of deranged loons rooting for the cartel

How dumb do you have to be to believe a prominent cartel is putting a bounty on ICE agents? Why in the fuck would they do that? How does that help them move their product….?

This

I don't believe the story at all. Historically, US scrutiny is the worst thing for cartels and they don't remotely want that smoke. And now we're in a time where Trump is threatening to go after them, and showing in Venezuela he will absolutely kill cartel guys based on the faintest evidence. On top of this, the US is sitting on a goldmine of intelligence since this year Mexico has been extraditing very high level cartel bosses en masse.

I would think the Trump Admin planted this story just to tie Antifa efforts to cartels

I heard this story a week ago, if it’s the same one…. It was some random individual that wasn’t even directly tied to a cartel say something stupid, and now we have these articles where all cartels are putting bounties on ICE agents. Anyone who takes more than a second think about it will come to the conclusion the story is dumb as hell and obviously not true.

Mexican cartels are offering bounties on ICE agents, all the way up to $50k for killing high ranking ICE officials

Who do you support in this conflict?

Cartel? There's none there. This is Chicago. This is footage of ICE fucking up and endangering lives yet again.
ICE rammed a vehicle in a residential neighbourhood and teargassed the local police. Who would you rather have the Chicago PD or ICE?
I'd prefer Chicago PD. ICE needs to GTFO.

I don't think you will find anyone on here say it/ admit it. Even the Luigi fans won't go there

I have wondered if the Democrat party was receiving money from the cartels, with their open border policies and war against ICE. It has bothered me.

In Mexico reportedly the government their receives money from the human smuggling cartels and as a result does little to fight against them.

You're trying to appeal to common sense that people do not possess

Looks like they just arrested one of the Latin Kings in Chicago for offering a bounty. I know they are their own org and just distributors for cartels.

Federal authorities have charged an alleged member of the Chicago Latin King gang with a murder-for-hire plot against a top Trump administration immigration official - Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino.

A federal criminal complaint, obtained by NBC 5 Investigates, shows federal authorities charged a 37-year-old Chicago man, Juan Espinoza Martinez, with allegedly soliciting other Latin King members and others for up to $2,000 for information about Bovino and $10,000 for his murder.

Court records alleged that Juan Espinoza Martinez sent out messages offering Latin Kings and others up to $2,000 for information on a senior Border Patrol official involved in "Operation Midway Blitz" and $10,000 for their murder.

According to court records, Espinoza Martinez reportedly made the solicitations about Bovino to a law enforcement source, which was shared via the online platform Snapchat. A federal criminal complaint included a screen grab, reportedly from Espinoza Martinez's account, showing the solicitation in the alleged murder-for-hire plot.

I don't know if Mexico is even comparable though. They pay and kill politicians and police there. Its like the wild west. Not sure they would do that here but doubt dems would get involved in such a sketchy deal.

Cartel killings:
37 candidates and aspiring politicians were assassinated during the 2024 election cycle, making it the deadliest election in modern Mexican history. Between 2018 and 2023, over 2,600 police officers were killed in Mexico. Though annual numbers have declined slightly, killings remain common, with at least 122 officers murdered in 2024
