Every of her roles I've seen of her's, which isn't all of them, she always seems like she's acting.

As in, I'm never convinced it's not Meryl Streep but the character she plays. Her performances never seem real, but an over dramatic characature of whoever she's supposed to play.

Glenn Close has always been a better actress, and didn't fuck Harvey Weinstein for roles.

Always found her kind of creepy. One of those actors who's work i couldn't enjoy because of their personal vibe or a certain look. In her case, the discrepancy of the affected doe-eyed innocense while a perpetual haughty smirk tells a different story. Now, as her political views and hypocrisy has become more known, she is even repulsive to me. Will not watch another movie that she is in.

I find it both frightening and hilarious that her playing the role of Margaret Thatcher gave her some delusions of grandeur regarding her own political stature. Will she run for political office in America? Lol.

Anyway, my favourite movie that she was in is Adaptation, but not because of her. It was just a fine film.

Haha I came to post exactly this. Uncanny. I've always thought Close was way better and they took similar roles in their primes.
