Probably depends on how often he's been cut there. Diaz fought Pettis on Aug 17th and suffered a similar cut. He then turned around and fought Masvidal Nov 2nd and it didn't take long for the cut to open back up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut if he takes Sean down, because I got a feeling Sean will be throwing tons and tons of elbows off his back if he is in that position, and he has boney arms and plus he knows where the cut is, he will aim for it with those elbows
