That isn't the same thing? That has to do with applying an ideaology on you (which sometimes can be not nice). Calling someone a racial slur is just dehumanizing. I'm not monitoring anytime you guys get into an argument over being called a group you don't associate with. That would shut down the whole forum for the amount of strawmans and character assasinations occur here

While I understand your point, I think ad hominems like "Nazi" and "racist" could be like steroid accusations in the heavies. Certain terms like that, that are inflammatory and shut down discussion

I agree they aren't useful but we don't even stop all flaming right now. To enforce specific ad hominems that actually carry a worldview with them (as ridiculous as the accusation can be) is hard to moderate and likely is best to not infringe on in that case. In other words, ignore the idiot who has that as their go to, especially if they won't explain their reasoning.

The mods already use discretion. Clear ad hominems need to at the very least receive a warning. It's sad when mods are mocking me for my religious beliefs (@Madmick ) while posters are calling me a cunt and go unnoticed. That's not his forum so I'm not calling him out directly for lack of action there, but as a poster that really irks me.
