The NRA didn't attack the kids at that school. Thats a pretty tasteless meme IMO.
Sometimes theres a line. Blaming someone for the death of children is a line for me. You shouldn't need a mod to tell you something like that.
I didn't contradict myself at all.But after you wrote that, you liked this meme:
I don't understand. What did that meme about leftists enabling crazy people mean to you? It sounds like the same message as the one you opposed earlier, putting your foot down and saying it crossed lines.
Did leftists attack those kids at the school? Well, no it was a kid who often wore a MAGA hat. Did gays, transgenders, etc, attack kids at the school? No, obviously not.
You can't act outraged then contradict yourself on the next page.
I didn't contradict myself at all.
I don't support making kids crazy. I don't support blaming people for a tragedy for twitter shares either. I don't see how thats hypocritical.
The left does make kids crazy. There are kids out there who don't know if they are male or female, FFS. We've simply gone too far with out safe spaces. Its brutally obvious. Kids don't learn how to deal with shit today and its all in the name of progress.Oh come on. The meme was connecting the left "making kids crazy" with them shooting up schools.

I still don't see how I've contradicted myself.
I do think its a part of it ,yes. Hey, we had guns when I was a kid. We used them as toys, for crying out loud. But we also used to learn to deal with the bullies, the kids who called you names. There was no one there holding our hands when we didn't fit in. You were expected to learn to deal with it. IMO, a vital life skill that has been taken away from most kids today. The meme was not only saying that the left makes kids crazy. The meme implies that the left has made kids crazy, and that is why we have school shootings.
Did you not interpret it that way?
How many school shootings were there when religion was still a strong part of our community, including in schools? You know that meme where the guy can't choose which button to press, because they contradict but his political ideology won't allow him to choose? This would be a good place to ask, which button?:
1. Value the Constitution and the 2nd amendment.
or
2. Fuck the constitution and promote religion in schools
If you can't choose between those two options, you have some serious thinking to do.

On top of that, the kids who do wrong aren't often held accountable anymore.
Combine a lack of accountability with 0 experience in coping with dark days... I mean really, does this need spelling out?
Its a weird thing to say but we've just gone to far with shielding our kids from bad things. Bad things happen and at some point, there's no grown up to make it go away. Hence the increasing trend of kids doing atrocious things.
Thats not what I took from that meme at all. I took it as an indictment of liberals using kids as pawns. Which they absolutely do with anyone else they pretned to champion. That's fine, there's nothing wrong with holding that opinion.
But if you hold the opinion that leftists have contributed to the mass murder of children, you cannot act outraged when somebody else holds the honest opinion that the NRA has contributed to the mass murder of children.

*shrug*
I'm actually not a religious person myself, but I do believe our decaying values and morals are another ingredient in whats going on in society today.
