We always hear about LGBT kids not being accepted by their parents and it's always portrayed like this

But I wonder how many times the real story is more akin to this:

Stretching the definition of 'meme' in this post:

Parents react to LGBT/Only Fans kids + a reverse comedy skit:

Guess what. My grandpa paid 5k for his first house. My parents paid 20k. I paid 185k. In each case values went up and each generation was making more than the previous ones. Despite being told it their entire lives millennials aren't special. That's just the way life is. Their kids will complain about the same thing.

They say that while it is not illegal to not lend to someone due to their status, doing it on a regular basis is!

Seems ridiculous to me. What if someone gets a loan and then is deported and/or willingly goes back to their home country

Omg brown people are gonna a be able to get the monies!!11

The logic of household income doesn't stand up to scrutiny. If two parents have two kids, then their kids grow of age, get jobs, now the household income had substantially increased. The only thing is nor the parents want their kids to stay with them for long, nor the children want to stay with their parents for long, after a few years(if both are lucky and smart enough) they have paid off their cars and have some savings, so they are in a somewhat financially stable situation and move out. Now the household income of the parents home has gone down, but can we really say the parents are worse off? After all they wanted their kids to move out and their kids also wanted to move out. Everyone got what they wanted, but household income went down. Household income is a really great way to trick people who don't understand household sizes change over time.
