Did Iran harbour 911 terrorists though? Wasn't that mainly the Saudis/Pakistan, and the terrorists were sunni while Iran is Shia?

My interpretation is it means "similar to those from 911" but then again, members of al-Qaeda have been in Iran

I may be mistaken but have any Shia muslims committed terrorist attacks in the west? I can't think of any from the top of my head. Not really saying that makes them nice people but also not high on the scale of things to worry about
