Everything not ultra left or with a green touch is "super dangerous far right" now over here - most of the tax founded media almost trying to spin it like there have never been more Nazis in Germany as there are today People ain't buying that bs no more and folks looking from outside should not do either. I voted for them at the last general election too. If you look at the parliament(Bundestag) their representatives are mostly higher educated incl academic qualification and got more (real life!) work experience compared to all other parties. Even the traditional parties went so far left during the Merkel years that they lost ownership of all the (conservative) core issues, such as support for family and the educated middle classes, finances and taxation, immigration, inner security and competence in economic/monetary politics. I'm glad living in the South (Bavaria) where things are still doing OK-ish overall. But apart from 3-4 federal states the country has literally turned into shit over the last roundabout 15 years. It's sad.
