Stop getting offended over shit posts. It's the meme thread and it is full of them. You don't need a $1000 iphone to conduct business either. In certain cases it can help, but a person can easily get by on a $100 android phone these days. Going out to eat can also easily cost $100 depending on where you go. Especially if you factor in drinks.

This isn't really the point of the the meme though. The point is that there are a lot of people out there that like to point the finger at everybody and everything else for their own shortcomings, but lack the discipline to try and do anything about it.

Rational people understood the message of the post but there will always be idiots who are hyper-focused on the specific numbers, completely missing the point.

Throw in a little bit of attacking the guy who made the post rather than the argument he's making and you get the typical pseudo-intellectual rant from a poster no one takes seriously.
