Word man, I drifted left a decent amount in the early 10s. I woke the F back up soon after, probably around 14. I think I am just a few years ahead of you of going back to being right wing and proud of what my people have created and done.
And yeah the 'wold I grew up in no longer exists'. The 80s were the end of masculine culture in the USA, basically everyone in my area younger than me was a complete wimp

Modern effeminate hipster dudes are also ruining stuff that should be considered masculine. I remember when a dude with a beard a flannel shirt, tattoos, jeans, suspenders, and work-boots drinking a PBR was a blue collar rough neck that you wouldn't want to cross. Now they took all of those things and somehow make them appear wimpy.
