this is such a stupid argument from pro-choice people. im pro-choice but this argument is so disingenuous

to pro-life people, the fetus is already a person, so killing them would be considered murder. just because you dont want someone to be murdered, doesnt mean you take responsibility to care for them their whole life to prove you actually care about whether they are murdered or not.

this argument is like, if i pointed out a random guy walking down the street and asked "is it good, or at least acceptable, for that person to be murdered" then you say no and I say "ARE YOU WILLING TO ADOPT HIM? ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY FOR HIS FOOD FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE?! IF NOT, THEN YOU DONT REALLY CARE IF HES KILLED OR NOT"

so if you saw someone pointing a gun at a childs head, you wouldnt try to to stop them, because its their choice and none of your business?

im pro choice too, but your arguments are fucking retarded, and just push people away

Is it just me or is Helden a really fucked up individual?

hes a terrible poster, for awhile he would go into every thread and argue that people shouldnt post unless they can post their college degree to prove they are qualified to talk about it. One time I got fed up and actually posted a picture of my degree, and asked for his, and then it turns out he doesnt actually have one himself, and posted some excel sheet to show that hes getting one

then everytime is aw him in threads i asked to see his degree and he got triggered and stopped with his schtick

LMAO turns out that he was tired of getting rekt, so he put me on ignore

And yes, you still need a science degree to talk about science

Not really mate. The same knowledge that's available to people with degrees is also available to people online now.... its not like the information is classified.

No, spending a few hours on wikipedia is not the same as dedicating 4 years of your life to undergrad/postgrad study, followed up by a 3-4 years of a phd
Not to mention you don't have access to online journal articles which are essential to the study of science. Unless you want to pay $$ for every single one of them (I've read close to 1000 if not more) at this point, each would have cost me $30 - $50

You can pay for those journal articles. The information isn't limited to your admittance into school.

Yeah you can.. no one does, because paying for the necessary amount of journal articles and textbooks you'd need to have a basic theoretical understanding of the topic, would cost you more than the degree

And lets be real here, no one is doing 4 - 7 years of "science googling". They look up a site titled "climatechangehoax.org", they copy/paste the literature on the site (without checking it themselves) and call it a day
