You'd agree that the Irish did not come here to undeveloped land and build civilization, right? They came from an awful situation, to a new situation that was full of opportunity, mostly in the 1800s and early 1900s.
They were shit on too, pretty badly in fact. Same as the Italians and Sicilians in the early 1900s. They did not come to undeveloped land and build a civilization, they arrived at an existing civilization, experienced prejudice, and then added their own cultures to the melting pot.
Many Irish came the US and helped build things. Like our transcontinental railroad.

They also pay billions and billions in Federal taxes and rent.
They also don't get Social Security or Medicare for it. It's a huge gain for us honestly.
Per the IRS, people without social security numbers paid $24B in income tax. That's just the small percentage that claim a return. There are many more that pay income taxes and don't file a return.
This has all already been discussed.
Yes, the Irish helped build things. Yes, the Hispanics help build things too.
Imagine Obama saying this to illegals instead of legal business creators.
How much do they cost to educate? How much welfare and assistance to they soak up? How much does it cost to give them free healthcare? How many hospitals have to close because they go bankrupt from caring for illegals?
The US.Who's doing the exploiting?
If they're an exploitable resource for the US then what's the problem? The US.
