Neither the movie nor history supports what you stated. Wyatt didn’t decide to kill anyone with a gun....he decided he would disarm them very very few argued with him and even less ended up dead for it

None of those guns actually fire more than 1 or 2 rounds per minute because each barrel has to be reloaded manually.

Multi barrel weapons were shit. Single barrel muskets and cannons still fired faster because the reload was much faster and less complicated.

If the gun has 8 chambers, wouldn't it fire 8 rounds per minute minimum? Reloading is done after you shoot.

Yes, some did end up being killed, very few in fact. However, you literally said he killed anyone with a gun.

Rate of fire is impacted by your rate of reload.

Multi barrel weapons fire faster once loaded, but their reload time was exponentially higher and the reload process itself much more complicated.

That's why they were never adopted.
