You have the chance to pay American fast food workers a living wage but people don't want to. People get upset about it.

Perhaps they shouldn't get upset about a basic necessity such as a living wage if they then wanna virtue signal about how they're so willing to support others earn?

And my point was that the two things aren't comparable. I'm all for more job opportunities for skilled American workers, and wholly against inflating wages for unskilled workers. It has nothing to do with virtue signalling and everything to do with rewarding people appropriately for their level of contribution.

Hey retard, this is the meme thread not the fast food restaurant owners thread, we're not the ones who employ or decide how much fast food workers get paid. Why don't you write to the actual head offices of these corporations and ask them? Why not ask how they can afford stars to push their products but pay can't $30/hour for someone to microwave burgers?
And who gets upset about it? If I feel something isn't worth the price, I just don't buy it. I'd like a Ferrari, but I can't afford one, should find a thread with Ferrari owners and blame them?

Perhaps you shouldn't be here virtue signaling and do something about it, why not open your place, hire who you want and pay them as you like.
