Kyle wasn't obligated to carry an assault rifle in a crowded city. He travelled there with the hopes of discharging his fire arm. A dream of his. To finally have an excuse to fire at real people instead of the boring target range.

In fact Kyle tried to convince shop owners they needed armed security and the shop owners refused his "help" in advance. He was an armed instigator there to provoke violence so he could meet it with justifiable deadly force. Keep in mind he's not a cop, or security guard, or military. Just some stupid kid with an itchy finger.

Carrying a gun is not intent to use a gun

You are projecting a lot of thoughts onto this kid that never surfaced in his trial.

It's also just a regular rifle.

There's nothing wrong with looking out for your community and protecting yourself ....assault however isn't a right.

Everything Kyle did before and after Kenosha confirms he intended to use a gun on people.

Projection and speculation.

He carried that gun all day no problems and had some lunatic not attacked him it seems fair to speculate since that's what we are doing here that he would have continued to carry it without any problems.

Again carrying a gun is not intent.

Wow. He really sucked at it then. Had a mob chasing and threatening him and I guess couldn't take off the safety yet to "live his dream." Shame that his "victim" (Jojo? You folks call him, Jojo, right?) created the circumstances of setting a second fire to ambush him, try to disarm him, and shout racial slurs at him. It would be much better that gas stations and car dealerships go up in a fireball while a defenseless teen gets stomped out by "mostly peaceful protestors" for attempting to maintain public safety, maybe? Maybe any and all of the people doing open carry in that area should have been fired upon by police?

I'll admit when I'm wrong: I didn't love to hear that argument.

(Credit where it is due; you post better leftist memes than most in the WR. First account?)

If he had no intention of using it, then
Why carry a gun at all?
Why text business owners asking if he can guard their businesses?
Why show up to businesses with an AR15 even after they business owners said NO PLEASE DONT.
Why text a friend saying he wanted to murder people?

You carry a gun because the world can be a dangerous place and you might need to protect yourself especially if you are trying to help during a riot . Also he's too young to conceal and carry a pistol so in his case he took his rifle.

You volunteer to help because you want to help your community.

You act is if he didn't have his day in court.

I believe the world is a more dangerous place when people can open carry in public places.
I don't believe he was genuinely there to help his community in those most wholesome sense.
OJ Simpson had his day in court as well. I think gun laws need fixing and I think the prosecution dropped the ball in this case. No point in fighting about it. Agree to disagree.

OK I'm embarrassed to admit, I thought this was a genuine sherdog account. Now I realize it's satire.
