Yeah, it's just such a bizarre thing to fixate on. Cities, regions, landmarks, etc. across the USA have names from all sorts of sources. We've got plenty of "inspired" names like New York, New Berlin, Germantown, Los Angeles, and so on. So what? Who cares?
