Any platform like this is going to curate their algorithms to provide an experience they think is best for their users (or themselves). Google gives you some results based on their parameters; Bing gives you different results based on theirs. Facebook shows you posts they think are most appropriate based on their own algorithm. YouTube too.

There's nothing really newsworthy about this. It's Musk's website and he's free to modify it in a way that he thinks will improve it. Companies do that sort of thing all the time, and people are free to use something else if they don't like it.
