People wonder why “experts” aren’t taken seriously anymore. It took them years to REVERSE a stance that any true fucking moron knew was obviously activist bullshit.

It’s like this in every institution or field of expertise from science to cultural. Almost everything you hear you must first look for signs that they are driven by personal politics, or the politics of the grant makers. It’s been proven time and time again that there can be near consensus on bullshit but then they just act like the information changed even though nothing has changed.

It doesn’t matter what you know. If people think you have no integrity then they don’t give a shit about your expertise. That’s the problem facing “intellectuals” today. No integrity and no respect. Too few willing to acknowledge the idea of there being “near consensus” that men can breast feed is damaging to the entire brand of expertise.
