I also saw an idiot in the comment say it's irresponsible for a parent to assume they have the ability to teach the way a teacher does.

So I guess that person's child never learned to:

-Talk, say their own name
-Walk, go up and down stairs
-Tie their shoes
-Use the bathroom properly
-Eat properly
-Say their ABCs, do simple counting

until the first day of Kindergarten because obviously no one is able to teach a child anything unless they're a certified teacher

I guess Erik Swalwell doesn't know there are 3+ million children in the USA who are homeschooled. What a dope that guy is.

I love these things!

Yeah, I get a huge kick out of these things. I also got a kick out of AOC's pronouncement that women will be the real victims of this verification thing as it will be used to target and harass them... Meanwhile, in reality, it's a bunch of corporations having their stock prices tanked by false statements and prudes like Ben Shapiro and Ted Cruz who are being made to look like they're talking about weird sex stuff publicly - to tremendous comedic effect.

Inside the secretive Silicon Valley group that has funneled over $20 million to Democrats
There’s a reason you haven’t heard of Mind the Gap: Its “raison d’être is stealth.”

What is also unusual is that Mind the Gap is led not by highly experienced political hands, but by academics with no professional backgrounds as fundraisers. The group’s leaders are a pair of Stanford law professors: Barbara Fried, who has no apparent campaign experience, and Paul Brest, the former president of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Graham Gottlieb, a Stanford fellow who served in junior roles for former President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign and in his White House, is its executive director.
