Yea, the medical establishment is pushing transition and hormonal treatment largely because they see those dollar signs. Reminds me of the chemotherapy scheme. It has a horrendous success rate, yet is still so widely pushed as the primary treatment for cancer (while alternative methods are slandered and suppressed) because it's profitable.
