The resemblance is amazing
Listening to Wagner is a recipe for success. I think I'm going to get my foot in the door by getting back into audiobooks. I have an outrageous commute to work, so I've got plenty of time to knock out some audiobooks. It's not as good as reading it, but in the past listening to a few chapters of something has helped to motivate me to read the book.
@Deorum have your read The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwall? The central protagonist, Uhtred, is a Saxon raised by Danes. He is a committed Pagan, wearing a Mjlonir and worshiping Odin, but is forced by circumstances to fight for the Saxons, even though he despises Christianity.
Some of the books were adapted to make the TV series, The Last Kingdom, but the novels are superior.
Oh, and a completely unrelated story...
