Like it’s even a vaccine

Lol that's what I meant.
I have Friday the 13th on my mind. We're doing a marathon right now. We're just finished one of my favs, part 3.

I love this death in 2

It's defo the premier month for that, thought it was funny how Tom Morga chose one of his kills from Friday The 13th since he actually got to portray both Michael and Jason in different movies (plus Leatherface in TCM2). <45>

I once drank a beer with Tony Moran (unmasked Michael Myers in the original) when I was presenting a short film at Eerie Horror Fest!

underrated slasher film with great SFX by Tom Savini:

It's underrated in terms of public consciousness, but one of the greatest slasher flicks of all-time. I once joked on another forum that The Burning knows what 100% on Rotten Tomatoes feels like until a negative review was finally posted in 2017.

This is one of my favorite alternate film artwork posters.

And yeah, Tom Savini was head of the FX department for a who's who and what's what of golden age classics: Dawn of the Dead ('78), Maniac ('80), Friday the 13th ('80), The Burning ('81), The Prowler ('81), Creepshow ('82), Alone In The Dark ('82), Friday the 13th: FC ('84), Day of the Dead ('85), Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 ('87). I'm also a fan of Rob Bottin who was chiefly responsible for all of the effects in The Thing (which is possibly my fave flick of all-time), as well as the OG ultra-violent Robocop and Total Recall. It's kind of incredible that John Carpenter has arguably both the greatest slasher and greatest science fiction horror flick in his CV.

Almost nobody possesses the same level of cool factor as Kurt Russell but
Donald Pleasence provided a great deal of counterweight to Michael Myers and his S&W Model 15 Combat Masterpiece is the only firearm that appears and gets used in H78.

I also didn't know until fairly recently that Jamie Lee Curtis is the daughter of Janet Leigh (!) That's awesome.

It took me a minute to get why you posted this but this is interesting stuff. When a disease first hits the population, it's going to take out a lot of people and over time, be less and less fatal and it doesn't seem the vaccine has much of an effect on the downward trajectory.

I'd like to see this kind of graphs with more disease in which we currently have a vaccine for.
