"Gaslighting" is when someone tells you you're wrong about something by denying objective reality.

The term originates from the play A Streetcar Named Desire. Stella comes home and complains the room is hot. Her husband denies it is hot, even though he had turned up the temperature. By denying it was hot (which was objectively true), he was "gaslighting" her.

Someone who claims that Ellen Page was attractive is gaslighting me.

I did the same thing while back, saying "I had to look up 'Lion King Sexy Nala' for that pic, I don't recommend it. I said DON'T look it you sick fucks.'
