To switch gears (by a lot, lol), what sort of blades do y'all carry over there? I've always been a massive fan of push daggers as the ultimate concealed carry self-defense weapon - that isn't a 357 Mag anyway - and they've been the cause of an untold number of deaths. They never went out of style as far as I'm concerned. The bladesmith Daniel Winkler owns a limited production company that probably crafts the highest quality steel this side of the Atlantic, been meaning to place a direct order with him.
Magnificent Weapon.
A push dagger (alternately known as a punch knife, or push knife) is a short-bladed dagger with a "T" handle designed to be grasped in the hand so that the blade protrudes from the front of one's fist, typically between the index and middle finger. It originates as a close-combat weapon for civilians in the early 19th century, and has also seen some use in the trench warfare of World War I.
The sale and possession of a push dagger with blade perpendicular to the handle is prohibited in some countries, such as the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Canada although if the edge is parallel to the handle they are legal. The laws of many countries and several U.S. cities and states prohibit or criminalize to some degree the purchase, possession, or sale of push daggers or knuckle knives.
Technically illegal to carry any blade of three inches or over, unless one has a very good reason
