You do know the only reason I've ever brought up historical figures is 100% down to posters talking about gay people "causing the collapse of western civilization" (lmao) on this forum, right? I'm just inclined to laugh at the irony of that sentiment being expressed on a computing device of all things; I may also point to the philosophical underpinning of the scientific revolution or note whom a large number of the most iconic pieces of artwork in the history of western culture is owed to. You seem to interpret it as some kind of superiority angle when it's more like unnecessary justification for mere existence.
In a similar way, I may note that the ('cis male') subdemo is pretty easily among the most economically successful capitalists in the US when we are conflated with communism and leftists; I'll point out that the "politicization of sexuality" actually happened centuries ago when countries created laws around it and that "Pride" came into existence as a direct counter to sociocultural shame and stigma; I've dropped scrollbombs of hard-bodied homo studs specifically because absurd OTT flamboyant caricatured stereotypes are invariably made out to be some sort of default representative.
The point being: It's almost entirely defensive, responsive, reactionary pushback to what I read and see on this particular platform, and even then I'm selective. It’s pretty crazy. I was a metal worker for many years. I know it doesn’t take much for solid metal to weaken by heat (IE Acetylene torch). A friend of mine on FB posted a link to a ‘study’ saying that fires didn’t cause WTC 7 to collapse. I really wanted to point out that this ‘study’ was funded by conspiracy theories.
