Even though people aren't focusing on the Hunter side of the situation but the Joe side of the situation, which is a VP being involved in shady dealings.
I know. It’s pretty clear that joe is and has been involved. They just pretended there was some magical firewall where the corruption didn’t seep though.

Yep. He was well on his way to doing worse things. Hope he stays in jail

It's extremely common for serial killers to begin torturing and killing small animals while they are children or teenagers. Eventually, that doesn't give them enough satisfaction and they move on to killing people.

In one of the Discworld novels, the Patrician hears off a man who cut a dog's legs off with an axe. He immediately orders Vimes, head of the City Watch, to search the man's house, because anyone capable of such violence towards a helpless animal could do far worse things.

The man is later sentenced to death after the Watch find something in his basement(exactly what is never revealed)proving the Patrician right.

If he's murdering animals, he needs to be shot dead. Because it's only a matter of time before he graduates to killing humans.

You can't 'murder' animals. You can kill them inhumanly or unlawfully kill them, but 'murder' is a term reserved for human death.

Yeah. I’m sure that’s timeless. Crazy guy tortures animals and eventually kills a village kid or what have you.
This dude is def on his way to doing more. He has all kinds of issues and possibly munchausen Syndrome on top of being a psycho

Technically correct. But I prefer animals such as cats and dogs to most humans I've met, and so believe those who kill them without good reason to have committed murder. And they should receive the same punishment as those who murder humans.

What’s a reason to kill a cat? They’re harmless creatures. At least with dogs they can bite and cause physical injury.
Yes, I agree with you.

They're an invasive species that is highly destructive to local wildlife, I would not call that harmless.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm not a vegetarian, so it would be hypocritical of me to criticise people who go hunting for example. But there's no justification for killing a cat. Hell, most of them will give humans outside their own family a wide berth anyway.

The only justification for killing a dog is if it's in the process of attacking you or someone who can't defend themselves. If you kill a dog just for fun, you need treatment. By which I mean a round in the back of your skull.

Anyway, I'm tapping out of this conversation before @irish_thug gives me Dubs for posting without Memes;)
