The lefties here definitely have a super annoying superiority complex, but I feel the left trolls (or just too stupid and annoying to tell the difference) are outnumbered by the ones who are "real" posters, whereas on the right the trolls/other outnumber the legit posters at this point.

Both sides feel that way, because you don't get the trollish interactions when dealing with your side, only with the other side.
Honestly though, I don't see that much trolling at all on here. There is definitely people who avoid an argument and go with personal attacks, but when I think of trolling I think of people who are just stirring up shit, and don't sincerely believe what they are saying. Most people here are sincere about what they believe.

Yeah, that's why

Like Papi Chulo or whatever his name is. Is he trolling? Or is he just so dug into his beliefs and refuse to look at anything beyond trying to make predictable zingers, it won't change. So wether troll or actual beliefs, what value to the discussion does the posters like him add? That's also the group I'm lumping into the "right wing troll" number here for simplicity.

Cottage cheese fan I think is dead wrong on his election stuff, but he puts actual thought into it and will engage without dodging, so I like him and those like him around here even if I couldn't be more opposite them on their main topic

See. Difference of interactions. I actually really like @Papi Chulo. In his case, I think you might just have bad interactions with him because he isn't interested in debating with leftists with anymore. He wants to discuss topics with fellow conservatives.

You can contrast him with someone like @Rational Poster. I'm sure you would say @Rational Poster is a great person who adds a lot to the forum. I will tell you that he just comes into all of my threads, and immediately tries to derail them into something completely unrelated. He never has any intention whatsoever of staying on topic, and he does it deliberately.

Same posters, we just have different interactions. I guess that's what the ignore feature is for.

They were the trolls, and thee partisan hacks. They thought they could troll others and have extra rights to do so because if their identity, which Fits their extreme partisan nature. Hell, their bully pulpit thread where they ignored the rules got axed because the site was realizing they were carding people like me while those trolls acted 10x worse and followed the rules less.
