yup... i was a fireman before i became a cop and i can concur ... when we had a DOA in NYPD we used to burn coffee grounds on the stovetop and open all the windows to help with the smell

we had a college kids parents come into the precinct saying they hadn't heard from their son and it was unusual so we performed a health check

So we enter the apt and you immediately knew he was dead... we sent the parents back to the RMP , and entered.. nothing looked out of the ordinary.. no signs of a struggle nothing out of place... until we got to the bathroom...

my partner immediately threw up all over the place and i had to choke it back down....

Apparently the student took a shower and then decided to pleasure himself ... not that out of the ordinary ... however, he stuck the plunger to the tile floor and was riding up and down on it while masturbating .. the tile floor was wet and.....

he impaled himself

sticking right out of his chest right above his belly button was the wooden handle... and he looked like he didnt die right away either... eyes wide open mouth agape etc twisted in horror and pain...

it was bad....

then we called it in and when the duty captain came on scene with the deputy inspector the first thing they said was

"i wonder if he came?"


i was like "Jesus Christ man... "

the inspector said after seeing shit like this for 25+ yrs you have to have a sense of humor or you are not gonna last in this business...

he was right ...

I literally burst out laughing. I'm sharing this with the guys in my unit, they're all twisted fucks.
