My nephew was there. He was is a physical prototype (Football QB / Baseball Center Fielder), as that is his work. He owns a professional coaching/training facility in Las Vegas. He ended up picking up this girl that was shot in the foot and carrying her hundreds of yards to his car. We were real lucky, because his sister (niece) and her husband left about 15 minutes prior to the shooting, as the husband had a bad feeling and they wanted to get back home to their baby.

The weird part is his older brother, LVFD responded to the call and was one of the initial first responders on the scene. They had to wait while they saw people in real need.

I partied with these guys and Run DMC back in the late 80's in Reno. They bought my sister and me a hotel rooms as she was a dancer on the stage in Sacramento and Reno. They were pretty cool.... Run from Run DMC... he was a dick, but the guy that died with the big glasses was super cool.
