Can you not understand the different influence and PSYOPS and election hacking? Let me explain in terms you can understand. Influencing/PSYOPS does not infiltrate the election system. It uses disinformation on targeted groups to sway them in a direction you want them to go. For Russia, they had a sophisticated and targeted PSYOP operation on a set of the population to influence them to vote for Trump. This has been proved by US and allied Intelligence agencies. The wave of supid memes, (like the one you just posted), news articles that were completely false, even sites that were developed to make people think they were official news sites were created. It was an elaborate operation.

Election hacking is infiltrating the systems and operations of the election system. This is completely different and was never a point people made about the 2016 election. No one said the Russians "hacked" into the systems and changed votes. No one said that election official were compromised by the Russia government.
