Meisha Tate's next move?

Back to whatever she was doing 1 year ago, wasnt she working for ONE FC?

Really showed yesterday that wmma is evolving and Tate is being left behind

Side note. Last night showed how tates striking is lacking and she still managed
out striked ronda on the feet.
How bad was rondas lol!?
Tate outlanded Viera last night in several rounds as well though.

I thought she held her own against a tough opponent but she looked slow. She's not getting anywhere near the title and if she does, she'd be destroyed. It's on her if she just wants to take fun fights or retire.

Cannot wait for UFC to now promote "Miesha Tate 3.0" every time they refer to her. Heck, she was referring to herself in second person as "Miesha 2.0".

work on her striking and movement ffs. she was terrible and lurching just asking to be head kicked to bolivia where maybe she can do the ammy circuit if she doesn’t take advice from a bunch of Sher-fats

Fight out her contract against lesser opponents then maybe get a studio job.
I think that's been her intention from the start.

She's certainty been trying to act the part of a virtuous company-woman.

I didn't think she looked that bad. She had to adapt to a more physical, stronger opponent.
But look who she fought. That was number 7. And she was talking about rematching Amanda. Come on, she was horrible and if she fought any top 5 they’d cream her. They are all more physical, and stronger.

If she's content in a gatekeeper role, she can fight on a BW.

If she can find a way to make 125, that could be an option for her. Maybe she'd be more effective there, who knows.

Either way it's hard to imagine her as a legitimate contender for a title. It's not like she lost to a world beater here, Ketlen Vieira is not very good.

I guess it speaks volumes on a few things, Viera is bad but she had more power and looked 1 division above Miesha, her striking was odd/bad at the same time, loading up on her right hand and Viera was seeing it from miles, the weird stance, Ronda was never a striker but still managed to beat her twice with the same technique she used in almost all of her other wins, Ronda was a 1 trick Pony but it took them a while to figure her out (she didnt improve either), she might still had been able to beat most of them considering how bad they still are.

So what does Meisha do next? It seems clear that she isn't getting anywhere near the BW title again. Does she retire again, look for a couple of BW fights like a Holly rematch or if she actually wants to try and win another title does she try to make Fly Weight and take a run at Schevchenko?

Can she even make 125 lbs? If she has her fake boobs removed that's half of the 10 lb difference. If she can make it I could see her beating some FlyW's in the UFC.
retire.

Skip camp and coaches altogether and increase the profit margin when she fights next.

I’ve always liked Miesha and she decent a couple of years ago, but her win against Holm was pure luck. She should either lose some mass and cut down to 125, get rid of camp/coaches to earn more money or retire. She will never get much better and she will lose with ease against the elite. Either try to earn as much as possible or retire.
